The women’s World Cup tournament will take place from May 02 – 04, followed by the men’s from May 05 – 08. The real action will start on the first match day with two games for each team and a total of eight games. This promises a real goal festival in the SSE-Arena at the Europasportpark.

The german Team starts on Tuesday (02 May, 13:00) first against New Zealand, followed by the match against Great Britain in the evening at 20:30. On Wednesday evening 03 May, 19:15) it is then against Kazakhstan for the final group placement. The placement matches will then take place on Thursday (04 May), with the two finals starting at 17:30 and 19:15 respectively.

Germany’s men then start Friday (05 May, 13:00) against World Championship twelfth-placed South Africa, and in the evening (20:30) they take on Asian champions China, who are coached by former national coach Petar Porobic. The match against Malta follows on Saturday (19:15), after which there will hopefully be one of the two finals on Sunday (17:30 or 19:15).

The new national coach Milos Sekulic said about the draw: “My predecessor Petar Porobic has known me since I was a young player myself. This reunion will be particularly interesting now, of course.
